Lisa was the first woman in her family to graduate from college and she quickly created a successful career in sales, working for companies like Pfizer and Hewlett-Packard. After losing her mother to lung cancer in her early twenties, Lisa dove deep into personal development. She loved it but before she knew it, she was living a double life – working in corporate from 9-to- 5 and doing personal development work on the nights and weekend. Not satisfied keeping her passion on the back burner, she left the corporate world and started working for a small personal development company that taught women how to understand men. It was her dream job, and she loved their courses and the positive impact they had on people’s lives. Then, 6 years later, the unthinkable happened: she was fired. That event became a major turning point in her life – she realized she had to assume the throne herself, because no one was going to do it for her. Knowing that she needed to get her blessing out in the world in a big way, she crowned herself “The Queen of Sales Conversion” and created The Invisible Close™.
It’s been an incredible journey from there. She started with private coaching, serving clients one at a time – all with no website, and not even a way to take credit cards – and from that foundation, she built the multi-million dollar branded company it is today. Her first product was The Invisible Close, an eBook with 97 tips and techniques to help people increase their sales conversion. Six years later, she has an entire suite of products that teach entrepreneurs how to sell from stages, online and one-on- one.
On her entrepreneurial path, Lisa has published 3 books, been ranked on the Inc. 500/5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies 2 years in a row, and has been honored with a myriad of awards including the Distinguished Mentor Award from the Business Expert Forum at the Harvard Faculty Club, as well as the coveted eWomen Network Foundation Champion award for her generous fundraising.
Through live and on-line training events, a year-long mastermind training program, and individual business coaching experiences, Lisa teaches people how to increase their sales conversion rates whether it is from stage, in person one-on- one, or on the phone.
Her clients are from all over the world in more than 134 countries and represent a wide range of industries from Bookkeepers to Doctors and Chiropractors to Speakers and Trainers.
